The Raven *Values of Citizenship and Commitment*

Hello, i am going to present 2 values that are Citizenship and commitment of a story or poem of Edgar Allan Poe called The Raven. There is no sign of interaction of the values in this story or poem. The Raven is a story or a poem about a man that is obsessed with his beloved that is dead,   in this story we can see that the Man has no Citizenship because he lives in a lonely place apart of the society because he doesn’t want to interact, talk, make friends with nobody, the only person he loved was his girlfriend called Lenore that now is dead a long time ago, after the dead of his girlfriend called Lenore he became obsessed with her and came in depression and then he pass his entire live alone, with nobody to talk to. Self Reliance *Values of Care and Patience*

Hello, I am now going to present the two values of care and patience, and try to see how they apply to the story of Self Reliance. In the story, the author talks a lot about the importance of people not as part of a group but only as an individual, and how these kind of people need to start thinking independently. He also talks a lot about not caring for what does not concern or affect you, and not letting other’s opinions change you. When talking about other people, he says that the most important thing is to ignore those who judge us for living independently, not caring for what society thinks and learn how to estimate a sour face, in the words of the author. Here is where the value of care is shown. You should not care that much for them, or others opinions, because that is one of the biggest aspects of self reliance, only trusting your opinion and learning how to lean on yourself when others don't want to. In this essay we are going to see the values of Fairness and Justice. Justice is the quality of being just, righteousness, equitableness, or moral rightness.   Is usually associated with the law. A judge is also known as a justice, and the point of the law is to keep everything in a society fair according to society's rules. TRUSTWORTHINESS AND THANKFUL In this essay we are going to see if in some part of the story we have these 2 important values on the story that are Trustworthiness and Thankful. Trustworthiness is the ability to be relied on as honest or truthful, and Thankful is Conscious of benefit of received. In this story nobody is Thankful because they don’t appreciate what they have and they are trying to have more and more of what they can really take. In a rainy day, the Montessoli family bought a mansion in Naples, Italy. It was kind old style. The family is composed by Lugi (Father), Gianlucca (Older Son), Anna, (Mother), Fiorella (Daughter), Gianni (Last Son). My name is Jose Garcia Gutierrez, I am 16 years old, i was born in Barranquilla, Colombia on August 17, 2002. I have and older sister called Camila Garcia, she is now studying in Clermont-Ferrand located in France. I am a Lyndon B. Johnson student of 11 Grade.
